Does Kavi Workspace integrate with external tools?
A:
Absolutely. Kavi has a robust Application Programming Interface (API) that can be used to connect to your Association Management System (AMS) or CRM tool of choice.  Our interface will allow you to manage your membership, and if desired, your committee rosters from your AMS or CRM.  Single Sign-On based on the SAML standard further streamlines this integration.

How does Kavi help me keep my data secure?
A:
Kavi maintains rigorous security measures spanning the network, data communications, web-services, the application and physical production facilities.  These measures include a fully redundant (n+1 fault tolerant) network architecture, redundant firewalls, ISO 9001:2000 certified data centers, and encryption. Q:
What is the scope of an integration process with Kavi?
A:
The Kavi interface is designed to be general enough to interface to any AMS or CRM with an API.   In order to complete the integration, you will need to have available an IT resource familiar with using APIs.  The Kavi team will set up and make available a testing sandbox and the final production site and is available for consultation and questions. Q:
How does Kavi protect me from data loss resulting either from a mistake or a disaster?
A:

Kavi maintains a 30 calendar-day backup of all systems, applications, site and site data.  Customer data is vaulted off-site and handled via processes consistent with ITAR and EAR.  Customer backup data is never transferred to locations outside of the United States.  Kavi also has an established relationship with one of the largest global providers of disaster recovery services.  Should a regional disaster strike, we have procedures in place to reconstitute services in another region using infrastructure resources provided by our disaster recovery service provider.   Kavi can also offer customers a geographically diverse hot standby solution if desired for an additional fee.

Can I customize Kavi Workspace for my environment?
A:
Workspace is an off-the-shelf Software as a Service (SaaS) online solution.  It is highly configurable and can be tuned to address the details of your internal procedures and processes.  The Kavi team has been working with customers to implement their standards-creation processes for over 15 years.  During that time, the configuration options for the tools have expanded to meet the needs of the vast majority of customers.  The team at Kavi will work closely with you during the Activation Process to understand your detailed requirements and make sure the tool is configured to meet them.
